Welcome to BEK Secondary!

We are an outstanding education intuition providing the internationally recognised Cambridge Curriculum to the Seoul community, leading to students obtaining IGCSE and A-level qualifications, which act as a gateway to top universities around the world. Our students have once again demonstrated outstanding academic achievement this year, with 100% of grades awarded A–C across 8 subjects in IGCSEs, and AS/A-Level students receiving offers from multiple Russell Group Universities, including Imperial College London, University of Edinburgh, and University of Manchester.

At BEK, we provide a high-quality education that is tailored to the needs of our students. We ensure that all our students have the opportunity to grow both academically and personally, inspiring and challenging them on their educational journey. To facilitate this, we have a wonderful team of highly qualified and motivated teachers who endeavour to deliver enriching learning experiences based on the latest educational research and practices, coupled with the best tried and tested pedagogy.

But more than just achieving top-class academic results we are also committed to ensuring that our pastoral care is of the highest order for us to provide an enjoyable experience for every one of our students.

With small class sizes, dedicated teachers, and a thorough Personal, Social, Health, and Economics (PSHE) programme that caters for their well-being, we are there for our students when they face challenges, or celebrate success, and provide a listening ear.

I am honoured to be joining BEK as Head of Secondary. Having taught and held leadership roles across England, China, and South Korea, I feel incredibly fortunate to bring a broad range of educational experience to BEK. Whilst academic excellence will always remain at the heart of an outstanding education, I believe we also have a responsibility to equip every student with the qualities to seize opportunities, embrace challenges, and thrive long after they leave BEK.

I am excited to get to know our students, families, and staff, and to work together to continue building on BEK's many strengths as we look ahead to an exciting future.
